Stepping onto a martial arts mat to learn a new tip or tactic from a community self-defense class is an empowering experience, especially when it’s a small size, offering more intimate and targeted instruction.
Today’s episode of DICE: Daily Inspiring Community Event highlights two selfless self-defense instructors making their local community a better place by teaching life skills to protect and defend, offered at no cost to any of the attendees.
Perry and Liz from Aten’s Midwest School of Jiujitsu and Kickboxing offered a free community kickboxing and jiujitsu class, which helps to build confidence and teach self-defense skills.
